I started my new blog, e-selves, on Friday September 17th, 2004, in a post which explained my research focus at the time. My September posts consist primarily of me exploring and finding my way, and I am not going to keep a record of those here. Everything can be identified from the sidebar, search button, and the category function of this new blog, so I am not expected any searching by month. But, for posterity’s sake, I wanted to mark the beginning of my blogging - a new form of online journalling. I deleted all my other attempts at online journals because they too were experiments of various forms - role-playing of my own, poetry, short stories, photos, pages and pages of flute information and so on. It’s rather frightening when search functions archive old sites even after they’ve been deleted these days, so I am gald for the fresh start and one which is much more focussed on academic pursuits. I don’t have many readers, but I am writing more for my own benefit than for any social or moral consciousness I have, though that creeps in anyway from time to time. If you read this, welcome!
